Tech Check for Autumn Lights

10/7/2020

Well, I've always thought the most difficult thing about the Autumn Lights Festival (and don't get me wrong, I love this event and the Gardens at Lake Merritt which the Festival supports) was setting up the art - packing and unpacking the van, running miles of electrical cable and positioning all the glass - but this time it is the challenge of zooming in from the out-of-doors! Tonight Barry and I did a tech check with Tora Rocha the director of the Festival and her tech advisor Steve Tiffin. Originally we were going to use Barry's Lumix camera and connect it via wifi through a cell phone to the zoom call, but after half an hour of (to me) mind-boggling app downloads and bluetooth connection failures, we decided to simply do it on the cell phone!  Barry will operate and I will try to tiptoe through the tulips (or shall we say peacocks, bleeding hearts and agaves) while talking about the work in the dark. Wish me luck! And be sure to tune in on October 18 at 7pm PST with a free link from Eventbrite.

Oh my gosh Kim. You put us all to shame with your work ethics. Your installation is fantastic. Will tune in to check it all in place. Good luck. You deserve to sellout.

Most sleep experts recommend napping in the early afternoon, typically between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., when energy naturally dips. If you nap too late, you may struggle to fall asleep at night. So, when evaluating is 45 minute nap good, consider your daily schedule.

Aunque las tallas de anillos virtual son muy útiles, es importante seguir las instrucciones correctamente para obtener resultados fiables. Factores como el tamaño de la pantalla, la calibración correcta y la medición en el momento adecuado del día pueden influir en el resultado.

cost to remove palm trees link

Taller trees require cranes, ladders, or climbing equipment, along with skilled operators, which increases labor costs. Safety risks also rise with height, prompting insurance or liability considerations that are often included in the service fee.
